(100 Points!!!) Choose a plot point in The Outsiders to rewrite a “What-if” scenario. You will take the story as is up to that point and then make a minor change to an event and rewrite the new trajectory the story takes. For example, maybe Pony stays home after Darry slapped him, Johnny never stabs Bob, Dally tells Darry where Johnny and Pony are hiding, or maybe Cherry goes on that date with Dally. You may choose any event and use any of the characters, but remember Pony is still our narrator.

Your what-if can make the plot more positive or negative, but it must be consistent with the novel thus far. Which means random aliens should not be coming down and taking over nor should Bob turn into a zombie. Remember this is in the genre of realistic fiction.
