Terrorism is the use of illegal violence, actual or threatened, that targets a government or people with the intent to create fear. The goal of acts of terrorism is to force people to obey or to persuade governments to change their policies. Such acts have been part of human history for thousands of years.
On September 11, 2001, the U.S. was the target of a terrorist attack.
OBJECTIVES
Define terrorism.
Identify the factors that can motivate people to commit acts of terrorism.
Construct a multimedia presentation.
