For this activity, you will be choosing a workflow application software to install, but before you can do that, you must identify what the system requirements are for potential software options and ensure that your computer meets these requirements—so let’s do that now!
Based on the system that you are using and the requirements of the various software options, choose your software, install it, import and tag your photos, and make sure to back them up. While importing and tagging your photos, take the time to organize, label, and rename any images and image collections. Do post-processing on at least five images (including checking white balance, color, tone and crop) to upload to an online gallery. On these five photos, make sure you add keywords and labeling to the metadata.
Take five screenshots to show your instructor your workflow:
Installed workflow software home screen
Import settings for photos
At least one tool for post-processing: white balance, color correction, tone, or crop
Metadata menu where you have entered info for a photo
Export setting to upload photos to a website gallery platform
Write out the steps you will use for your own workflow and the order you plan to do them in for every photo.
