Now let's take some time to discuss our favorite functional artworks at home. Do you have a favorite planter's pot or decorative bowl? What aspects of the design are most appealing to you? Is it the texture or color? We typically like our eating surfaces to be smooth but we may not feel the same about other objects that we use on a regular basis. What about the handle on your favorite mug or the size of your favorite vase? How do artists design works that we are excited to use on a daily basis? Feel free to share your favorite functional work by uploading a photo as a sort of "show and tell."
