Please choose five of the following questions to answer. Remember to answer every single part of it completely and thoroughly, that is how you get points. Do not be vague and don't think implying an answer is good enough. The more details you place in your answer, the better you will probably do. I am looking for evidence that you actually know what you are talking about. The general rule of thumb is that each answer should be about a paragraph long. You are free to use your textbook, notes, the power points your study guide etc. to answer them. Each question is worth 10 points, meaning this section of the midterm is worth 50 points.

Concerning citations, for every question you answer you must cite our textbook at least once. This means listing the name of the book, listing which edition of the book you are using the specific page number you got the information. You can also cite either, the PowerPoints, videos or lecture at least once in your answers as well, but citing the text book is mandatory for every question. Failure to cite from the textbook will lead to an automatic "zero" for the question. General rule of thumb regarding citing is when you're discussing something very specific or detailed, something that is not commonly known cite. If you are unsure whether or not you should cite, do so to be safe. Here is a sample from an old test showing how your short answers should look and read.

If you have questions, please let me know. (If you have experience properly citing feel free to do so, you won't get any extra credit, but I'll be impressed, and isn't that worth more?)

You will have from Monday March 18th until Friday March 22nd at 11:59 pm to turn the short answer section in. Thus you are free to work at your own pace as long as you turn it in by Friday March 22nd at 11:59 pm. I do not accept late work so make sure the short answer section is turned in by Friday March 22nd at 11:59 pm. If you have any issues please let me know as soon as they occur, do not wait until Saturday the 23rd to let me know because I won't do anything, as the exam is considered late.

You will also submit your answers online via Canvas, via the turnitin.com link below. I will not accept answers emailed to me, or done on your phone etc. Be aware if I see even a 1% chance you used any A.I. you will get an automatic zero.

Here are the questions. Remember to pick five to answer. (Submitting more than five will not get you extra credit, obviously turning in less than five will result in less points for you). Also, remember to answer every single part of the question.

I'd also recommend starting them on another document and when you are done copy and paste them to turn the short answer section in.
