Should the happiness/wellbeing of all persons “count equally”? For example, is it morally acceptable to save the life of 3 people by killing one person and transplanting their organs into the 3 other people? What if the 1 person killed is a murder? What if the people saved are scientists who can save our planet from climate change? What makes all human lives equally valuable or NOT equally valuable?
