This is actually a great story turned into a movie. The Freedom Writers Diary is a biographical non-fiction story that talks about the students’ everyday struggles and triumphs. It was an eye-opener that everyone has the right to proper education and that it can be achieved if one fixes his goals on the prize (e.g. graduating, finish the grade level) at all times. The diary was more of an experiential journey to each individual's growth.
