If the points of the scatter plot move upward it is a positive relationship (or correlation) (increasing +) if there is no relationship then I think (THINK) that the scatter plot points are a cluster or they don't make a line (neutral 0) and if the points of the plot are moving in a downward position then it is negative (decreasing -).
