Which three statements are true about the energy flow in an ecosystem?
A.The main source of energy for the ecosystem is the Sun.
B.Producers convert radiant energy to chemical energy and provide for the entire ecosystem.
C.Energy flows from carnivores to herbivores.
D.The maximum amount of energy is received at the highest trophic level.
E.The maximum amount of biomass is present at the lowest trophic level.
THREE CHOICES PLZZZ

Respuesta :

The answers are A, B, and E. A) because the sun provides energy to the entire ecosystem so it’s a main source. B) because photosynthesis is the process when plants convert radiant energy from the sun into chemical energy to form glucose which is known as sugar. E) I believe because the amount of energy in every trophic level decreases as it moves throughout the/an ecosystem.

C) makes no sense. It also can’t be D) because at the highest trophic level there is only a minimum amount of energy.

Hope this helps ;)

main source of energy for an ecosystem is the sun

producers convert radiant energy to chemical energy

the maximum amount of biomass is at the lowest trophic level

i just got this one on plato
