Hi everyone!! Could someone write a real-world problem in which you could graph function? Thanks!! The best ne will win the title of the most brainliest!!

Madeline is on a diet. She exercises every day in order to lose some weight. she currently has 210 pounds. Make a graph with a number of pounds she loses and with the amount of time she takes (in months) to lose that weight.
Well,

The example I will use will be the relationship between the Celsius scale and the Fahrenheit scale.

The formula for the conversion between Fahrenheit and Celsius:

[tex]F= \frac{9}{5} C+32[/tex]

We can immediately see that this is a linear equation if we substitute y for F and x for C.

[tex]y= \frac{9}{5} x+32[/tex]

or

[tex]f(x)= \frac{9}{5} x+32[/tex]

It is a line that has a y-intercept of (0,32), and has a slope of 9/5.

I have attached the line below.
