The formula for the area of a rhombus is [tex]A = \frac{pq}{2}[/tex] where p and q are the measurements of the diagonals of the rhombus. [tex]\overline{EL}[/tex] and [tex]\overline{KE}[/tex] are each half of the diagonals we need. Because a Rhombus is symmetrical, we can double each of these to find the full measurements of the diagonals.
