Gilgamesh is largely concerned with ideas of knowledge and self-understanding. enkidu gains wisdom from the temple prostitute, but he loses something in the process. what? in what other ways does the epic explore the concepts of wisdom and knowledge?

Respuesta :

Enkido lost his innocence and wildness. He lived with the animals, living like them. A hunter sent him a temple prostitute. The prostitute introduced him to sexuality  and it tamed him and civilized him. He has become a self-aware man.

The epic explores more concepts of wisdom and knowledge as it tells the story of Gilgamesh's moral, ethical and spiritual journey to become a  better man. In the epic, Enkido became Gilgamesh's greatest friend. He died  and awakened benevolence in him. His journey led him to find himself and he continued to become the greatest of kings.
