Since dogs are mammals like us humans, does that count that we are the same species has dogs??? (Its a dumb question i know)

No, even though we are both mammals, our species is different from dogs as we are more advanced.
No. Although we are both mammals, we function in different ways. Humans are homo sapiens while dogs have many different breeds type..
