a promotional sell at a department store offers 25% off the sale price. The sale price is 25% off the regular price. Another store, there's a sale that offers 50% off the regular price. Which sale is the better offer?

Please explain this to me!!

50% off regular price is better

example 1. 100 x (25%) = remaining 75

75 x another 25% = 56.25



The other store - 100 x 50 % = 50


so the better offer is the other store that offered a full 50% off.
