The porins are the membrane proteins, which allows the transfer of the molecules. It is a transport protein. The cipro-resistance protein is also a transport protein. Both the porins and the cipro resistance proteins are membrane transport protein. The presence of the cipro-resistance protein does not allow the ciproflaxin drug molecule to cross through the normal protein, as a result it causes resistance.
