Which of the following statements is not true of the Allied military strategy? France invaded Germany from the south. The Allies attacked Germany from the west. Germany was attacked from the east by Russia.

Respuesta :

France never invaded Germany in WWII. The Germans invaded France early in the war so they were pretty much out of the fight. But American and British common wealth troop did invade from the west and the Russians attacked from the east

The incorrect statement is: "France invaded Germany from the south".

France was invaded by nazi Germany and kept under its control from 1940 and until 1944. There was a resistance movement but France never managed to recover with enough strength as to retake the occupied territories during WWII. In fact, the Allies started their plan to invade Germany from the West through the Normandy landings (in June 1944), as they did not count with forces in the French territory.

Meanwhile, Russia attacked Germany on the Eastern front.
