One thing That Ponce de Leon did was discovering Florida; according to legend he was looking for "the fountain of youth". 2)in 1514 he traveled back to Spain to report things in person and was knighted. 3)He left Spain again in 1515 with a small fleet in order to engage the Caribs. 4) In 1521 León organized an expedition of about 200 men including farmers and priests that arrived to Florida.
