An artist has some picture-hanging wire that is 6 feet long. The artist cuts 4 pieces from the wire. Each piece is image feet long. How much of the original wire remains after the artist finishes cutting and removing the 4 pieces?

If image is 1 ft then,

1 x 4 = 4

6 - 4 = 2

2 feet left
