Please scroll below in order to see the graph.
Step-by-step explanation:
1) 5 is the y-intercept
plot a point at (0,5) since that is the y intercept
2) Use the rise and run method to graph.
Rise up one box and run 3 boxes
3) Repeat this over and over again until you are able to draw a line.
Extra:
This equation is called a slope-intercept form.
It can be used to form lines on graphs.

ABOUT SLOP INTERCEPT FORM:
- y = mx + b
- m represents the slope
- b represents the y-intercept AKA the starting point
ABOUT PROBLEM:
- 5 is the starting point... So, you plot positive 5 on the y line AKA vertical line.
- Since the slope is positive, you start at the 5 and go up 1 right 3.
If my explaining makes no sense to you, then you can use DESMOS. DESMOS is a great source to use because it graphs the equation/line for you...
Hope this helps you!!!! :)
