After each answer, a short response to the answer is provided.

The right answers are BOLDED.

(A) Honestly, this would be one of my concerns, but at the time, it definitely wasn't a real concern, considering starting a war was concerning their rights and independence as a nation.

(B) Who wants to fight a war they'll probably lose?

(C) Honestly, they were rebelling against this, so why would they even consider this a factor when fighting against it?

(D) This is the Loyalist type of thinking. When you still consider yourself a person of a certain country, and pride yourself in it, you don't really want to rebel against your "own" country.
