Please help!!
a mutation occurs in a strand of replication DNA. The correct codon in this strand should CCU, but instead the mutation has resulted in CCG. will this mutation result inna change in the resukting protein? use the chart to help you
1.No, because this is a silent mutation and the amino acids for each codon are the same
2.Yes, the resulting protein will always be different when a mutation occurs
3.No, because the even though CCU AND CCG code for different amino acids, one amino acid won’t alter the protein
4.Yes, because CCU and CCG do not code for the same amino acid
