my suggestion is to export from excel as txt or csv file format 1st; then import the txt or csv file to Access
As the poster mentioned in the comments, one data field had the wrong data code (integer instead of long integer). When the data is imported to Access, there is a data mis-match; causing the import error. The poster did a good job in identifying the cause.
