At dinner, one-halve of a loaf of bread was left. If this piece of bread was shared equally among the 5 people, what fraction of the whole bread loaf did each person receive?
It’s 1/10 because you multiply 1/2 by 1/5 the 5 turns into a fraction which is 1/5. Basically you divide 1/2 by 5 but you turn it into a multiplication problem which would be 1/2 x 1/5 in the division problem it would be 1/2 \ 5/1 but you change the 5/1 into 1/5 for the multiplication problem.
