Robert is the editor of the sports section. He is responsible for making sure all of the school's athletic events are covered by student reporters. During homecoming week, everyone is really busy and no one wants to cover the game. Robert is already reporting on the swim meet that week, but he decides he will just cover the homecoming game himself so he does not have to make anyone else do it. In this case, I would see Robert as a doormat. It is his job to make sure everything is covered and if he is already doing his part, he should delegate responsibilities to ensure everything is covered. If the other students were already fulfilling their responsibilities and covering other stories, this is one thing. If the other students just don't want to cover the story, then Robert is bad at delegating (doormat).
