There were many technological developments during World War I. One of the most notable inventions was tanks, which were developed and put into full utilization in the year 1914. These vehicles fulfilled the purpose of being a method of transportation and a weapon that would be used until nowadays. Among other inventions at the time were flamethrowers, poison gas, and tracer bullets.
