To whom it may concern:

I am interested in the job I saw postd in the lunchroom at Jefferson high school. I’ve babysat neighborhood children a couple of times and I think it’d be fun to work in a preschool.

Children seem to like me and I don’t mind hanging out with them. It’s pretty easy to keep them amused. I know that working at the preschool will be different than being in someones house, but I think I can handle it. I learn quickly and am pretty flexible about most things.

I’m looking forward to talking to you about this position. I can’t start until after the holidays, but I can work any afternoon except Fridays.

Thanks!

For one thing, make sure there are no spelling or grammar errors. Do not use contractions such as don't and I'm, this is incorrect on a resume. I would also remove the passive voice, as it doesn't sound confident.

Can I please get brainliest?

Describe some of the specific scenarios you’ve encountered with children (assuming you are the author). What are some conflicts you’ve faced and how did you resolve them? Also discuss that you are willing to train for this position.

Just from a psychological standpoint, listing the hours you CAN work rather than they hours you CANNOT work is usually received slightly better by the recipient.

End with something like “regards” rather than “thanks!”

Make sure your letter is in the proper format. Google “business letter format” and use templates as an example.
