B. Canvassing can be defined as "spreading information about candidates and policies in the community". A door-to-door campaign or campaign in the field is a form of an electoral campaign that focuses on direct contact with the individual -eventual voter- at home. Members of a campaign will knock on doors or make phone calls to participate in a personalized contact with an individual. It is used by political parties and interest groups to identify supporters, persuade the undecided, and add voters to their electoral rolls.
