First, you need to find the area of the triangle

Then, Find the Area of the circle and divide it in half (you have only a semicircle). So you need the radius, that is half of the diameter= 4ft

Divide it in half (for the semicircle)
[tex]49.6 \div 2 = 24.8 {ft}^{2} [/tex]
Sum the area of the triangle and the area of the semicircle
