1. walk over ground poles on lunge line or in hand
2. get on and walk over poles
3. lunge or in hand trot over trot poles then get on and trot over poles (trot poles should be spaced 4 or 5 feet apart)
4. get on and trot over poles
5. walk your horse over a raised pole
6. trot over raised pole
7. canter on a lunge line over one ground pole
8. canter on your horse over ground pole
9. raise the canter pole
10. try small cross rail (you can make a cross pole course)
11. after you and your horse master this then i would raise the cross pole
12. to be safe I would free jump your horse over bigger jumps but do go to fast or to high to keep you and your horse safe
