Lewis Terman is known for his revision of the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales (which is the same as the Alfred Binet Scale). Terman was also able to create a method to calculate and compare IQ. The formula was: 100xMA/CA. This formula was able to re-conceptualize the relationship between chronological and mental age. The results of the calculations were compared to other participants.
