The challenges they faced were that the religion was not accepted and not a lot of emperors likes the idea. Most liked Buddhism and Hinduism. Christianity was still a newer religions there were not a lot of connections to it. Hope this helped

There were a lot of arguments among the Christian believers on what was right and what was wrong.
They had disagreements about circumcision, about the leadership of the church and about food that was right to eat. The issue on food was if it was okay to eat food sacrificed to idols.
- Disunity among the believers
These Christians were divided on ethnic grounds. Some of them were Jews while some others were Gentiles. This led to disunity.
In conclusion, the Christians in this era suffered persecution, disunity and they had a lot of disagreements among themselves.
