people from all over the country started gathering in the town to witness the trail. everyone tries to make it to the town from miss stephenie to mr dolphus.. only miss maudi refuses to witness the trial as she percieves it to be repulsive.
a large number of people gathered in the town square to have lunch.later,jem scout and dill wait as to avoid bieng seen by atticus.because they waited too long,they were allowed to sit in the balcony only where the black people were suppose to sit to witness the trail.
