Founding fathers of the good old US of A believed in the idea of freedom,equality and the oppurtunity for every human being to do what they please in the united states of America. they envisioned it to be a land of freedom. and to achieve that,a system was created called the democracy so people have the choice of who gets to rule them. the foreign policy decsions of the united states have been in persuit of these fundamental values that our great founding fathers laid down for us. all over the world,united states has made serious efforts to support the democracies and to prevent them from becoming dictatership regimes. the support of newly emerged turkey into becomming a democracy when the iron curtion was at its full swing is a clear indication. united states supported the democacy in turkey.. another important historical step that the united states took was to safeguard the europe from a much bigger and hostile doe,the U.S.S.R. it was through contineud support of the united states to europe and its democracies that allowed the union to prosper and able to defend itself against the iron curton
