The imposition of views on others implies making people see or do things the way we think is best. An example of a time when I tried to impose my views on others was when a Chinese friend came to my house and I served her pasta. She desired to eat it with chopsticks but I insisted that she uses a fork.

Traditionally, the Chinese people are known for eating pasta with chopsticks.

I feel weird about the use of chopsticks and that is why I did not provide my Chinese friend with that for eating. I was also imposing my own views about the way pasta should be eaten on her.

Summarily, this case is an example of a time when I imposed my views about life on a person from another ethnic group.
