Fortunately, there are only a few Americans who place appetite above patriotism. The overwhelming majority realize that the food we send abroad is for essential military purposes, for our own and Allied fighting forces, and for necessary help in areas that we occupy.
Both the speech and the poster convey the importance of:
a. conserving resources at home so troops can have more.
b. making sure that all citizens receive a fair share.
c.displaying patriotism in all facets of one’s daily life.
d. donating money to provide supplies for the troops.
