When finding the slope of two points, remember the equation [tex]\frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}[/tex].
In this scenario, the equation [tex]\frac{0 - (-2)}{1 - (-3)}[/tex] is made with these two points.
By doing some simple subtraction, we get [tex]\frac{2}{4}[/tex], which can be simplified to just [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex].
The slope of (-3,-2) and (1,0) is [tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex].
Good luck! If you need me to explain any of this in more depth, just ask and I'll do so :))
