Respuesta :

The elevated rivers cause the most erosion.

Explanation:

The rivers have many different shapes, many different parts of their flow, and that mostly depends on the topography. The type of topography will determine the type of flow the river has. In turn, the type of the flow of the river will determine how much erosion the river causes.

The most erosion is caused by the rivers that have the most velocity. This practically means that the rivers that are the fastest, thus the water generates more power, have the biggest erosive power. The elevated rivers are prime example of this. They have a free fall of the water in some parts, and that speed with which the water falls generates lot of power. That power manages to rapidly erode the rocks with which it comes in contact, thus in very short space of time the erosion is of relatively high scale.

On the other side, the rivers that are slower, thus the rivers that run through flatter terrain, often being meandering rivers, have low velocity because they are slow. Because their velocity is significantly smaller, their erosion is much smaller, and in order for the erosion to have greater effect it takes very long time.
