Probability of heart drawn is: 13/52

For question (a)

P(ace or heart)=p(ace) + p(heart)

P(ace or heart)=4/52 + 13/52

P(ace or heart)=17/52

For question (b)

P(ace)' =1 - 4/52 = 48/52

P(heart) =1 - 13/52 = 39/52

P(neither ace nor heart) = 48/52 × 39/52
