Process of endocytosis:
A cellular mechanism where compounds are transferred into the cell is understood as an Endocytosis. A cell membrane sheet protect or shield the material which is to be directly experienced, which then get sprouted within the cell to form a vesicle containing the ingested material. Pinocytosis and phagocytosis comprise endocytosis.
Two ways that protists can obtain their food:
Protists have one of three methods of eating food. They can ingest, absorb or produce their own molecules of organic origin. Ingestive protists eat bacteria, or swallow them, and other small particles. Their cell wall and cell membrane are extended across the food item, creating a food vacuole.
