Alyssa bought a soft drink of four dollars and seven candy bars. She spent a total of 39 dollars. How much did each candy bar cost?

answer is $5. if the drink was $4 and the total was $39 then subtract 39-4 u get 35. then do 35/7 because there are 7 bars, and we wanna figure out of much THOSE where, thus is why we subtracted 4.
