The Industrial Revolution made machine-based products more common, increased the population, and also increased the income. People came to the cites to work instead of other jobs in the country, like farming. Millions of workers moved from their homes and the farms. This increase in moving caused the population to rise in the cities. With more jobs in the city, more people were working increasing the income.
