Answer:

For y=x-3. (0,2) the equation is y=x+2

For y=3-x. (0,2) the equation is y=2-x

For y=3x+1. (0,3) the equation is y=3x+3

For y=-1/2x+4. (0,1) the equation is y=-1/2x+1

Step-by-step explanation:

How I got my answers:

  • First rewrite the equation to the form y=mx+b
  • m will be the gradient and a line parallel to another has the same gradient or m.
  • b will be the y intercept.

For y=x-3: the gradient is 1 because we do not have anything before x.

For the points given for example (0,2) x is zero  and y-intercept is 2. same for the rest of the points.

Now you can write your equation in the form y=mx+b

where m is your gradient, and b is the y point. So you say y=1x+2 for the first one. Do the same for the rest. Remember 1x is the same as x so you can leave out 1.
