Abrahams was not accustomed to losing and didn’t take it very well. He referred to his last Olympic race as “. . . ten lonely seconds to justify my whole existence.” What did he mean by this? What was running to him? Was this a healthy attitude?

Respuesta :

He meant that this is what he did, run, win or lose. He said lonely because he was not accustomed to losing and was alone in this new experience. Running was everything to him. That was day in and day out. This was not a healthy attitude
