Today was very exciting and eventful day for me. It was a perfect day in many aspects as I was selected as the captain of the Hockey team of our college which posed an opportunity for me to represent my college in Inter college hockey leagues. The moment when my coach announced my name was full of joy as he demonstrated trust and confidence in me. I could feel tears rolling down my eyes when I was being congratulated by my team mates and friends.
I am very happy and excited to have this opportunity which will help me excel in my favorite sport. I am more focused now towards working hard and give my best for my team and college. I am thankful to my parents who have been a great support. I pray to god to give me strength to face all the challenges which come with this responsibility.
