Using Pythagorean theorem.
16^2 + (RT)^2 = 20^2
256 + (RT)^2 = 400
(RT)^2 = 144
RT = 12
Using altitude theorem to find ST:
16/12= 12/ST
16ST = 144
ST = 9
Using Pythagorean theorem again:
12^2 + 9^2 = SR^2
144 + 81 = SR^2
225 = SR^2
SR= 15
Final answer: SR= 15
Hope this helps!
