The U. S. Department of Agriculture recently undertook the Community Nutrition Mapping Project (CNMap), that combines and aggregates food and nutrition indicators at geographic levels. CNMap was created to provide a snapshot of these indicators at the state and national level. A group of parents in one Mississippi community saw the state's results and are very concerned about the recorded eating patterns as well as body weight indicators for children in the community.
