Media is a reference for an opinion. Sometimes, politicians or people in general arent as bad as the media makes them out to be but they portray them as such and such so you can start to see them that way. Some can be news and basically any type of informative source that is somewhat biased. Media can cause you ro second guess yourself or it can even change the way that you think of something.
