Today we are going to be talking about the Inuit of North America people. They lived In far Northern places like Alaska, Canada, Siberia, and Greenlands. The Inuit were one of the last native groups to arrive in North America. They arrived sometime between 6000 BC and 2000 BC. The earliest Inuit spent part of the year wandering, and part of the year in a fairly permanent camp. Their year was divided into three hunting seasons. Inuit life was harder. In the day, they hunted. At night, they found shelter, mostly in igloos or huts. They did not mess with other tribes, so they needed each other to survive. They shared things like food, equipment, clothing, and money with mostly family and friends. This affected them alot, In a good way, so they had no wars.Throughout Greenland, Inuit people say the weather is unpredictable. Some that the land and the sea ice are changing. People have even reported that hunters have disappeared through the ice.
