All the weather phenomena on earth generally occur in the troposphere and end in the tropopause where the region of mixing stops. The thermosphere is a region in the atmosphere that is directly above the mesosphere and is found below the exosphere.
In the thermosphere the temperature increase with the altitude due to the absorption of the high sun rays and can rose up to 1,700 degrees. Only high dilute gases can reach this zone during the day as the amount of air density is extremely low.
