A bird is flying in a straight line initially at 10m/s. It uniformly increases its speed to 15m/s while covering a distance of 25m. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of the bird?

Using v^2 = u^2 + 2as
15^2 = 10^2 + 2 a 25
225 = 100 + 50a
50a = 125
a= 2.5 m/s^2
